Natural Elements

These days it is more important than ever to do your bit for the environment and what better place to start than your home by using the natural resources we have been blessed with.

There is honestly nothing better for you than connecting your home with the outside. Not only does it look aesthetically pleasing, but it also has many benefits such as boosting energy alongside encouraging peace and calmness in to your life. Whether you go all out or add just a small decoration of natural accessories to your home, we can assure you that you will notice an improvement to your mood.

There are a bunch of natural materials to choose from, all available in neutral tones and finishes making them easy to include in your home. Materials such as wood, stone, rattans, canes, concrete and cement are just a few of many you can use.

If you’re not completely sold on turning your house organic, then try to bring in rustic wood elements. There are many natural materials such as hemp or jute that look great as a rug and are sure to become a perfect accent piece. Additionally, they require much less maintenance than any ordinary rug or carpet as they are less likely to collect dust or dirt and can be way more robust.

Another way to add a breath of fresh air to your home using nature is by purchasing a wicker basket. Not only are they one of this years most popular home accessories but they are also super practical and stylish. They can be used for a range of things like home storage or organisation and come in a range of shapes and sizes so you are almost guaranteed to find one you like. Or use them as planters for our favourites: fiddle-leaf fig trees, banana leaf plants or a Swiss cheese plant.

Unfortunately, plastic is becoming a big problem throughout the world so to help resolve the situation, you can swap that ugly plastic for that gorgeous wood.
